Entering the competition to join a team of 6 butchers was a must for Tom Bouchier. Tom loves the thrill of competition butchering which saw him excel in a number of industry events throughout his apprenticeship. The Tri-Nations is the most challenging event thus far. The concept of the Tri-Nations is to develop an environment where butchers strive to exceed current industry practice in the areas of general workmanship, meat cutting, displaying and the creative usage of beef and lamb product. Recently returning from a Team Meet in Brisbane, Tom will be preparing himself for this exciting challenge over the next few months before jetting off to England in June.
