Tom Bouchier Continues A Family Tradition
The Bouchier family has been involved in the retail butcher trade for the past 50 years. In this time the name Bouchier has become synonomous with the finest quality meat available in Australia! The 21st August 2010 was a landmark day for the business when Peter's son Tom oficially signed his papers to begin an apprenticship thereby ensuring that the family tradition will continue. We all look forward to helping guide Tom through his apprenticeship and I am sure you will see some fantastic new products hitting our stores as Tom puts his stamp on the business.

Peter Bouchier Wins National Award For Bacon Excellence
Bacon Award Winners
79 organisations submitted 115 entries in the categories of full rasher and short cut bacon for the 2012 Australian PorkMark National Awards for Excellence.
Peter Bouchier was awarded 1st Place in the National Award for the Full Rasher Category & 3rd Place in the National Award for Short Cut Bacon.
The bacon was then assessed in both raw and cooked form by three eminent judges against various criteria such as appearance, aroma, curing, taste and shrinkage.
The judges for the Awards for Excellence are two chefs with broad international experience including working in Michelin starred restaurants, cruise liners and premier teaching institutions, and a Fleischmeister with a Masters degree in Butchering and Smallgoods from the Master College in Monchen Gladbach Germany.
