They're ready to use, featuring printed instructions for keep the ham bag fresh, moist and safe for use. Australian Pork advise that leg ham on the bone should last for up to 3-weeks provided the ham is stored at the bottom of a refrigerator running at 4°C and that the bag is kept moist by re-dipping in a water/vinegar solution every 3-days.
